This is my latest axe. I prefer the F-5 models for routine
pickin. This one came to me from Dennis Vance in AZ at the
Mandolin Store. I owned another festival model a while back
and got that one from him when he lived here in OH. It's a
real good one commin from the Gibson Nashville shop. Nice
bottom and cuttin trebles. Typical old Gibson tone with its
Loar inspired top. This one had that shaved neck and chopped
off finger board extention which I prefer for mashin out those
high lonesome jams. Smooth transition down the neck for ease
of sliding and pick click less with no FB extension. This one is
a player's beast. Very happy with this one. It's a keeper this
time. I use this one mainly out and about. Got two festivals
commin up next weekend to get this beast out droppin jaws !
